Michael Jackson

He was ranked as the world's most famous, popular, and best-selling CD artist with sales of more than 350 million records worldwide, and has been considered the most important and most powerful music star in history and the first character to enter the Guinness Book of Records 21 times ever [4].  His contributions in the field of music, dance and fashion as well as his declared personal life have made him a global icon rooted in world popular culture for more than four decades.

 Michael was born into the Jackson art family of nine, with his seventh ranking among his siblings.  He starred in singing and dancing at the age of only six, to begin in 1963, accompanied by his brothers in the world of music by reaching the age of eleven years under the banner of Jackson Five (Jackson 5), which he established with his four male brothers (Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Germain  Jackson, and Marlon Jackson), then switched to solo singing while he was a member of the band in 1971 with Motown Records.

 In the early 1980s, Jackson became a prominent figure in dance and popular music, for his ability to break racial and racial barriers and transforming dramatic short operas into an art form and promotional tool.  His popularity helped him become the first African-American singer to show his songs on MTV at the time, which led to her fame, and seven of his solo albums alone were the best-selling albums in the world during his artistic career: Off of The Wall (1979), Thriller (1982).  , History (1995), Dingers (1991), Bad (1987), Blood in the Dance Floor: History in the Mix (1997), Invincible (2001).  Thriller's album alone is the best-selling album in history, with sales estimated at more than 65 million copies worldwide.

 Jackson is one of the few artists to have performed twice in the Honorary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriter Hall of Fame and Celebrity Dance Hall as the first and only dancer from the world of pop and rock music.  Michael has won hundreds of awards and many more titles than any other artist, most notably 13 Grammy Awards in addition to the Legendary Grammy Award and the Grammy Award for Achievement of Age, 26 American Music Awards including the "Artist of the Eighties" and "Artist of the Century" [5].  During his solo career, 13 of his single songs ranked first in the United States, with sales exceeding 1 billion [6] records worldwide.

 Aspects of Jackson's life, his private relationships and his actions generated many rumors and controversy.  In the mid-1990s, Michael was charged with sexual harassment of a minor, but she was settled outside the walls of the court without being formally charged.  In 2005 he was acquitted of most of the allegations of harassment and other charges after the jury found him not guilty of all charges against him.

 On June 25, 2009 while preparing his so-called concert series, Jackson died of an overdose of propofol and benzodiazepines that caused him to stop breathing.
